What does IP56 Rated mean?
IP stands for Ingress Protection, the level of rating given to a screen in its defence against water, dust and humidity and suitability for use outside.
The First digit in the rating (IP56), in this case '5' indicates the level of protection that the enclosure provides against access to hazardous parts. These screens are mostly but not entirely protected against the ingress of dust, although it stops the dust from entering in any amount that is harmful to the working of the screen. It offers complete protection against contact.
The second digit, in this case '6' relates to the level of protection the equipment has against the harmful ingress of water. The AQUiVO screens are protected against water from heavy seas or projected in powerful jets, and these will not enter the enclosure in harmful quantities.

Will these screens be suitable for venues looking to put them outside when each phase of the smoking ban is introduced?
It s clear that those premises who prepare for the bans by providing provision for smokers outdoors have succeeded over those who do not. While an awning alone will shelter your customers, entertaining them is vital. The AQUiVO screens enable sports fans to watch the match outside, while still enjoying a cigarette, bars to display music videos and lifestyle messaging and customers to stay outside rather than having to return indoors.
The AQUiVO screen's weather protection means licensees can leave them outdoors in all weathers, a must for the European winter weather! Get more information about the impending UK smoking ban here... www.airinitiative.com/ and www.thesite.org/drinkanddrugs/drugsafety/smoking/smokingban
Who makes the AQUiVO range?
The AQUiVO range uses nothing but the latest technologies and the best materials available for the markets we support. All products sourced are considered the best for the tough job the AQUiVO has to perform. The LCD screens are assembled and tested by iizel Co Ltd in South Korea.
How do I clean my AQUiVO screen?
In general, we advise that your AQUiVO screen is cleaned using a soft fabric and neutral detergent. As AQUiVO screens are designed for use outdoors it may be necessary to remove bird lime, tree sap and road-film on occasions, which can be done using Ethyl Alcohol. A specialist cleaner "ET-2000" can be used to clean anti glare coated glass.
